What is a CCTV?

A CCTV is a Closed-Circuit Television unit.

Most CCTV's consists of:

	A video camera that “looks at” the material you are viewing.
	A monitor, computer screen, or separate television that shows you the magnified image of the material you are viewing. The user controls the size, focus, contrast, and even the colors of the enlarged images. (Color is available on certain models only.)
	Inline units include a base with a moveable table where you place the material to be viewed. This “X-Y” table moves easily from side to side, and from front to back to allow smooth motion of the magnified image.
	Magnification available from 2x up to 60x.
	Reverse-imaging capabilities: white lettering on black background, or other color combinations on color models.
	Some models or option packages include line markers and split-screen capabilities.
